Newer upgraded mavic with more power
Rating: 4
Awesome drone, but the Phantom 4 has slightly better video resolution. The mavic 2 is still a great drone. The original mavic and the Phantom 4 had some minor electronic glitches and had to be returned. All DJI drones are above-average, but the DJI Phantom 4 Pro is the one I would recommend.

Cool little drone
Rating: 5
Works great runs for about eight or nine minutes on one battery. Don't fly it if it's windy. I bought it for my 11-year-old for his birthday. Seems a little advanced for him he had a hard time controlling it. But I think with some practice it'll be an awesome drone for him.

Great Little Drone
Rating: 5
I bought one of these for some fun, and it sure is. Setting up your smartphone to the wifi camera is easy and works fairly well, although the range is limited to about 200 feet and line of sight before the video picture cuts out. The Syma app for your phone works well and is fairly intuitive. I have loaded it on two different Androids and both worked fine. The control has a high and low speed setting, which allows learning to fly in slow mode and then going faster in high speed. If you are going in high speed mode the video lag is almost too long to fly "first person" by looking at your phone and not the quad copter, but for just going up in low speed and taking a look around it works fine. What impresses me about the copter is its ruggedness. I have dropped it hard onto gravel from 30 feet several times, and hit things while flying, and it keeps working. Lately I got it stuck in a tree where it sat through two heavy rainstorms before I could get on a ladder and knock it down with a 20 foot pole. I charged up the battery to test it, and it still works as new. Worth every bit of the $50 price, and is great for learning to fly these things. Also does a few stunts like flips and rolls at the push of a button.
